PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method for a functional film capable of finishing the cutting without eroding a functional membrane. SOLUTION: The cutting method for a cutting film includes steps of activating one of edges placed on both sides of the functional film 1 having a functional membrane 101 on a substratum and cutting with clearance. The edge provided on the side of the substratum is an acute-angled edge 2 of 30 to 50°, and the edge provided on the side of the functional membrane is an obtuse-angled edge 3 of 93 to 110°.
