<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug fan chamber for an air conditioner, in which blow in a constant direction, and necessary blow quantity can be provided by a damper in a compact fan chamber. <P>SOLUTION: In this plug fan chamber for an air conditioner, the plug fan chamber is formed like a parallelopiped. In a front side surface of the parallelopiped, a fixed opening part of a circular form to which air flows in is provided. A plug fan is incorporated in it, with a fan drive motor installed on an outer part of a rear side surface facing the front side surface. Heat insulation material is provided in a wall surface of the parallelopiped. On a flat bottom surface, a frame for fixing the fan chamber is provided. Inside a side surface perpendicular to the front and the rear side surfaces facing each other, a blow port for the plug fan is positioned.
