<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image photographing apparatus which records a photographed image by associating it with information in an electronic tag which an object to be photographed has. <P>SOLUTION: When a shutter release button 5 is operated to a half-push state, a tag reader/writer 2 transmits radiowaves in the direction of a photographic lens 3 and reads electronic tag information from the electronic tag which the object to be photographed has. At this time, the content of the electronic tag information is displayed on a display part. When photographing is performed by pushing the shutter release button 5, image data, a setting mode and the electronic tag information of the photographed image are associated with each other and stored.
