<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit which is provided with an output drive circuit and can be realized at a low cost in a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A clamp voltage setting part 54 sets, in the state that a driving transistor 45 is ON, the base potential of a high side transistor 43 so that a potential higher than a ground potential by the sum of a saturation voltage Vsat and a voltage V1 set by the clamp voltage setting part 54 is applied to the base of the high side transistor 43. When the potential of an output terminal 51 falls from the above potential by the voltage lower than the base-emitter forward direction voltage VBE of the high side transistor 43, the high side transistor 43 is turned ON. Even when a negative surge is applied to the output terminal 51, a current is supplied from the positive voltage side of a power source, the negative surge is dissolved, voltage decline is suppressed, and clamping is performed so as not to turn ON a parasitic transistor 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
