<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide type fuel battery cell having enhanced gas sealing performance and bonding strength (thermal shock resistance, heat resistance over a long period of time) at a bonded part of a metal frame and an electrolyte layer in the fuel cell cell, and to provide a fuel cell stack having excellent gas sealing performance and enhanced durability since breakage caused by thermal expansion when it is stacked and the deterioration of a bonded portion bonded by a brazing material are prevented. <P>SOLUTION: In this solid oxide type fuel battery cell composed of a power generating part and the metal frame, an insulating barrier layer is disposed in the gap between the metal frame and the electrolyte layer, and the insulating barrier layer is bonded to the metal frame by the brazing material.
