<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably shorten the print processing time of a series of pages without being interrupted by print requests from other printers by making a data processor side generate PDL data which a printer can decode, distributedly in parallel on the basis of a print instruction per page from an application. <P>SOLUTION: A distributed management part B2070 inquires of a plurality of personal computers about a PDL generation request to a print instruction of each page on the basis of a print request from an application B2010 and confirms a replay state to the inquiry and requests a selected personal computer to generate PDL data of the print instruction of each page and acquires PDL data generated on the basis of this request, from the personal computer and transfers acquired PDL data of each page to a printer B2050. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
