摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high weather resistant magnetic particle and its manufacturing method enhancing the weather resistance of a rare earth-bond magnet by depositing a phosphate coating on the surface of a magnet alloy particle with crushing it, and also to provide a resin composition for the rare earth-bond magnet. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the weather resistant rare earth-iron series magnet particle with its surface deposited by the phosphate coating through the phosphate coating process comprises: contacting the coarse magnetic particle comprising an iron magnet alloy particle including the rare earth element to a phosphate compound and a coupling agent expressed by a general formula (1) R<SB>(m-n)</SB>-M-X<SB>(n)</SB>under the presence of an organic solvent; and coating the phosphate on the magnetic coarse particle by finely crushing. In the formula, the R is an organic group having a hydrocarbon group or a functional group, the X is a hydrolytic group, and the M is a metal element selected from Si, Al, Ti, or Zr.
