LINEAR SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear synchronous motor which is improved in motor constants and robustness.

SOLUTION: The linear synchronous motor of this invention comprises an external yoke 10; a center yoke 5 arranged movably along the axial line of the external yoke inside the external yoke 10; a permanent magnet group 4 comprising a plurality of permanent magnets arranged on upper and lower outer peripheries of the center yoke and each fitted and attached to the sides facing the inner surface of the external yoke 10 along the longitudinal direction; and an annular electromagnet coil group 3 that surrounds the center yoke 5 and that is attached to the inside peripheral surface of the external yoke 10. The permanent magnet group 4 mounted on the center yoke 5 moves against the electromagnet coil group 3.
