PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal capable of performing a more complicated operation control and a more accurate operation control by using the detection data of a detection means provided therein. SOLUTION: A user registers, in his portable telephone set, a time slot wherein it is highly possible to ride on a commutation train. If the present time becomes a disclosed time of the registered time slot based on time data obtained from a clock section, a main control section of the telephone set acquires acceleration data which are detected by a sensor detection section, and analyzes a change of acceleration to recognize a vibration pattern. The recognized vibration pattern is then compared with a vibration pattern for comparison stored in advance.
