PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly calibrate an image processing condition of a device that is a copy machine etc. which forms an image, based on the data subjected to an image processing in spite of a temporal variation of the device. SOLUTION: The image forming device prints out a pattern with 256 colors (step S1) and stores the read result for that in a memory (step S4, S5). This process is performed N times (step S6), a masking coefficient that is image processing condition is calculated based on the read data of N times of the reading and set up it. Thereby, the temporal variation of a printing condition etc. of the device is alleviated by performing N times of the processing and an effect caused by this variation on a calibration processing is reduced.
