PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder liner structure of an engine capable of restraining cracking in the neighborhood of an end part connecting an internal chilled part of a cylinder block and a cylinder liner with a projection and preventing lowering of a sealing property due to damage of a cylinder gasket. SOLUTION: The cylinder liner 1 cast in the cylinder block 3 of this cylinder liner structure of the engine 2 has a cylinder part 12 and a large number of prickles 13 integrally formed on an outer surface of the cylinder part 12, and a chamfered part (fc) chamfered in a tapered shape including the prickles 13 of an end part (m) is formed on the end part (m) on the side of a cylinder head 4 of the cylinder part 12.
