PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at a low cost a dial switch mechanism which has a simple structure, improved freedom of design, and a reduced size. SOLUTION: The dial switch mechanism comprises a substrate, a dial part which is installed on the substrate rotatably and inside of which a first function display plate is housed, and a rod which rotates according to the rotation of the dial part and operates a volume switch element. The volume switch element is arranged on the substrate corresponding to the rotation center axis of the dial part and one end of the rod is extended along the rotation center axis of the dial part and coupled directly to the volume switch element.
