PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient self-diagnostic result announcing system for vehicle, by announcing an automatic diagnostic result of a device mounted on a vehicle to improve the user's awareness to on-vehicle devices, and enabling announcement control according to the knowledge of the user or a vehicle inspector. SOLUTION: This device comprises a self-diagnostic means 11 diagnosing whether the state of various devices 2 mounted on the vehicle 10 or various materials supplied to the vehicle is normal at the starting of the power supply of the vehicle; and an announcement control means 12 announcing a diagnostic result of this diagnosis that the state of each device or each material is normal to the vehicle user via announcement equipment, mounted preliminarily on the vehicle. This device further comprises an announcement state handling means 5 to which announcement state control information for controlling the announcement state of diagnostic result is inputted by the vehicle user's operation. The announcement control means 12 controls the announcement output state of diagnostic result, based on the announcement state control information inputted to the announcement state operation means.
