PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch block superior in drainability in a drain metal fitting. SOLUTION: In this side ditch block 16, a drainage ditch is formed of a pair of side surface walls 16b and 16c, and an upper surface wall 16a for joining the mutual side surface walls 16b and 16c; the drain metal fitting 17 having drain holes 17c and 17e is installed in an upper part of the side surface walls 16b and 16c; and a space communicating with the drainage ditch is formed on the reverse side of the drain metal fitting 17. A water introducing long groove 16d is formed on the side surface walls 16b and 16c, and a horizontally long groove is formed in the drain metal fitting 17.
