PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic paving material capable of maintaining a high sliding friction coefficient over a long period, by reducing reduction in a sliding friction coefficient of the elastic paving material in a wet state, by restraining separation of a binder and a hard aggregate from an elastic aggregate surface even when exposed outdoors over a long period. SOLUTION: This elastic paving material is molded by using an elastic aggregate, the hard aggregate, and a urethane-based binder, and takes a constitution that the hard aggregate is composed of the following (a), and the urethane-based binder is composed of the following (b). (a) Silicon carbide is surface-treated by a silane coupling agent. (b) The urethane-based binder includes a structural part induced from a hydroxyl group both end diene-based polymer, and its content is set in a range of 30 to 70 wt.% of the whole binder in a hydroxyl group both end diene-based polymer reference.
