PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which can be made horizontally small-sized by enlarging a main body case perpendicularly when the device is not used. SOLUTION: When an operation lever 5 is rotated as shown by an arrow A, an upper lid case 2 which projects from a lower lid case 2 in use moves as shown by an arrow B (perpendicularly) and a lateral lid case 4 projecting to the lower lid case 2 in use moves as shown by an arrow C (horizontally), so that the upper lid case 3 projecting from the lower lid case 2 in use and the lateral lid case 4 are finally stored in the lower lid case 1 as shown in Fig. (b).
