The slider is made from a metal base body (1) and comprises pivot pin (3) and carrier body formed in one piece from solid. The running surface (2), preferably made of plastics, is then connected to the carrier body. The base body is placed in a mold of an injection-molding machine, and the running surface injected at least partially around the carrier body.
