Flat image screen panel arrangement e.g. for color image reproduction, uses lookup table which is adaptable via graphics processor, depending on light density

An arrangement with a panel of a flat image screen, a graphics processor (1) to which is supplied a digital image signal (3), in which a lookup table evaluates the digitalized image signal and communicates it to the panel (4) via an interface (9), such that the image information is visually displayed. During calibration, the light density of a test image is detected by a sensor (11), where the sensor is arranged in a zone of the flat image screen not visible to the observer, and in which devices are provided so that the sensor (11) can be swiveled out mainly parallel to the panel (4) from an idle position into a position for detecting the light density. A lookup table can be adapted by the graphics processor (1) depending on the detected light density.
