<p>The ventilation system for a vehicle fuel tank (6) comprises a float valve (1) and a separate, sealed chamber (2) connected to the valve by a pipe (4) at the top. The valve ventilates the tank, even when it is in a sloping position, prevents ejection of fuel when the tank is tipped or waves are formed n the fuel, removes gas during filling and acts as both a roll over valve and a valve which prevents over-filling.</p> |
