<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for allocating the optical fiber core in which the downstream side part of the optical fiber core being separated from an optical signal distributing station and left as it is can be reused. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber core 11 in an optical cable laid from an optical signal distributing station is cut and a part thereof on the optical signal distributing station side is connected with a lead-in optical fiber core 21. In order to reuse the part 11<SB>1</SB>on the optical cable end side of the optical fiber core 11 which is cut and left as it is, one end on the optical signal distributing station side of the part 11<SB>1</SB>on the optical cable end side of the optical fiber core 11 left as it is connected with other lead-in optical fiber core 25, and the other end of the part 11<SB>1</SB>on the optical cable end side of the optical fiber core 11 left as it is connected with other optical fiber core 15 in the optical cable laid from the optical signal distributing station through a photocoupler 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
