<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter substrate with which the deterioration in its display grade is suppressed and which is high in flexibility in sticking directions of a dry film, and a color filter substrate and a display device using the color filter substrate. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the color filter substrate, a process of forming a colored layer 2 includes a process of forming a first colored column 106 including a plurality of first colored sections 106a, 106b and 106c arrayed in a first direction 70 apart gaps from each other and a process of forming a second colored column 108 after the formation of the first colored column.
