<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To newly register keywords that users are interested in and display mail using the registered keywords. <P>SOLUTION: In a mail reading-out apparatus which reads out text information in received mail through voice synthesis, a keyword register 7 is newly provided and arbitrary keywords are registered. In addition, a keyword extractor 13 extracts keywords from mail text information transmitted from a document analysis 5 referring to the keyword register 7 and a keyword item dictionary 6 stored with general keywords, and transmits them to a display timing adjustment part 17 through a keyword storage 14.
