<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propellant for a small diameter pipe propelling method which prevents directivity from lowering by preventing the sway of an excavating head of a top end and reaches a predetermined desired point with accuracy, and further enables to install a lead-in pipe and improve workability by using the excavating head as it is without the necessity of replacing the excavating head in pulling in the pull-in pipe in a process of propelling only a bendable inner pipe curvedly, and also provide a small diameter pipe propulsion method using the propellant. <P>SOLUTION: The propellant for small diameter pipe propulsion method constitutes a bendable continuous jacking body by connecting many unit jacking bodies to each other with an adjustable angle. The excavating head 15 is bendably connected with the forefront portion of the unit propellant, and a longitudinal groove-shaped recess 8 is formed on a downward pressure-receiving surface 27 formed on the front surface of the excavation head 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
