<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent touch panel whose peripheral edge other than an area part where inputs can be made is made small in order to miniaturize a portable PC, a cellphone, a personal digital assistant and the like into a pocket size. <P>SOLUTION: The resistive-film type touch panel comprises a movable base and a fixed base integrated in endless shape together, and a spacer shaped to consist of four sides except inside body and located between the movable base and the fixed base.
