PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a powder polyurethane resin which is used from slush molding and gives flash molded articles that little bloom, hardly forms bent wrinkles and has excellent solvent resistance. SOLUTION: This method for producing the powder polyurethane resin for slush molding comprises the first process: a process for dissolving or dispersing a polymer polyol in an organic solvent substantially dissolving the polyurethane resin, the second process: a process for reacting the polymer polyol in the dispersion with an organic polyisocyanate to obtain the isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer dispersion, the third process: a process for reacting the isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer in the dispersion with a chain extender and a blocking agent, and the fourth process: a process for separating and drying the powder polyurethane resin from the liquid.
