PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise eliminator capable of increasing elimination accuracy for eliminating pulse noise mixed with a reception signal. SOLUTION: The noise eliminator comprises a hold control section 3 for inputting an input signal Sin in which pulse noise is mixed with the reception signal and detecting the generation period of the pulse noise to determine a hold periodτcorresponding to the generation period; a pilot signal extraction section 4 for extracting a pilot signal Sp included in the input signal Sin; a pilot signal elimination section 5 for eliminating the pilot signal included in the input signal Sin for outputting; a main signal extraction section 6 for extracting a main signal included in the input signal Sin; a hold circuit 7 for holding a signal S3 having the main signal output from the main signal extraction section 6 for the hold periodτfor outputting; and a signal composition section 10 for generating the reception signal Sout from which the pulse noise is eliminated for outputting, by composing the pilot signal Sp to a signal S4 outputted from the hold circuit 7 in the hold periodτand a signal S2 output from the pilot signal elimination section 5 in a period except the hold periodτ.
