摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more precisely measure a flow rate in a narrow tube. SOLUTION: By utilizing a resonance of a radial directional oscillation or lateral oscillation of an oscillator 14, an axial directional plane wave is made to generate in a tube 12. By utilizing a resonance of a radial directional oscillation or lateral oscillation, the oscillator 14 is more miniaturized than by utilizing the resonance of thickness directional oscillation or longitudinal oscillation. The oscillator 14 is made to oscillate with a low frequency generating the axial directional plane wave. The axial directional plane wave is small in attenuation by bending of a pipe line, or the like, therefore, the distance between oscillators 14 is allowed to be comparably longer, and also allowed to improve the measurement precision of the flow rate.
