PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction gearing capable of attaining the improvement of a service life and power transmission efficiency by applying pressing force proportional to transmission torque in spite of simple constitution using neither a wedge roller nor an actuator. SOLUTION: This friction gearing transmits power from one roller out of two rollers 1, 2 to the other roller by frictional force generated to a contact part by bringing a rotatably supported driving roller 1 and driven roller 2 into pressure contact. At least one rotation support part out of the driving roller 1 and driven roller 2 is allowed to abut on a cam slant face 5a with an angle of applying the pressing force proportional to transmission torque, to a tangent in a contact point of the rollers.
