An edge protector, e.g. for clamping panels onto a pallet, has a three section construction linked by two bending profiles (14, 18) and provided with a pair of ridges (26, 28) on the upper surface to centralise the straps. The third panel (20) has a raised upper lip (24) and is positioned upright. The straps are angled over the raised edge and provide a sprung fastening.
