Display for indicating to children the amount of electricity generated using solar energy comprises a board on which the amount is represented by 4 - 30, especially 24, light bulbs (7). The number of bulbs switched on is increased as the amount of electricity generated increases. A second display represents the amount of electricity by the number of wooden balls transferred by a toothed wheel (4) from a hopper (3) to a lower container (6), both containers being made from acrylic glass.
