<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a positive electrode active material, a positive electrode active material for a lithium battery, an electrode for a lithium battery and a lithium battery, wherein generation of iron (III) compound when synthesizing a positive electrode active material of an olivine type lithium iron phosphate is prevented, accordingly, the positive electrode active material excellent in charge/discharge capacity in particular is produced. <P>SOLUTION: On the manufacturing method of positive electrode active material for lithium battery, a salt containing lithium, a salt containing iron and a salt containing a phosphate are mixed and heated by a temperature of not lower than 320°C and not higher than 480°C, and further, an organic reducer is added and heated by a temperature of not lower than 600°C and not higher than 800°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
