<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of supporting the movement of a vehicle 10 in good performance. <P>SOLUTION: The image data of the rear view photographed by a photographing means is processed by an image processing means in accordance with the reversing operation of the vehicle 10, and the parking space 12 is acknowledged. The reference running line 13 for intruding into the parking space 12 is computed by a reference computing means. A comparing means computes the predicted running line 14 when the vehicles 10 has made a reverse run on the basis of the event signal given by a sensor part. The reference running line 13 and the predicted running line 14 are compared by the comparing means, and the difference is acknowledged. A sounding control means acquires a MIDI message concerning the intrusion to the parking space 12 from a MIDI sound preparing means, sets the parameter value to the condition where the degree of warbling increases with the size of the difference, and allows sounding.
