<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible handrail which is capable of moving smoothly by expansion and contraction even after exposure to rainwater or after a use for many years, which is also capable of efficiently preventing damage during an earthquake, preventing an opening from being widened, preventing the generation of noise or rattling due to a strong wind, and being easily installed. <P>SOLUTION: This flexible handrail is composed of a pair of supports installed in a rotating manner to a floor flame in a horizontal direction at the joint side of right and left buildings; a pair of fixing upper portion bars fixed in such a manner that a joint portion can be formed between tips protruded in the horizontal direction from upper portions of the pair of the supports; a slide upper portion bar installed in a slide movement possible manner without causing the fall of both the ends to the pair of fixed upper portion bar; a pair of cover body where the rear end is fixed to the pair of supports and the tip end overlaps by a dimension between a pair of the fixed upper portion bars; an attached piece and a guide piece fixed to the upper and lower members fixed to the upper and lower members of a pair of the cover bodies and the slide support device comprising a pair of supports which cover the attached pieces and the guide pieces fixed to the upper and lower members of the pair of the cover bodies. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
