PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-maintain multistage compression device with a relief valve on the bottom of a sealed case so that wear debris on a movable part is discharged from the relief valve to the outside of the device without the need for disassembling and cleaning the device. SOLUTION: The device comprises a compression means having a plurality of compression parts, a driving means for driving the compression means, and the sealed case in which the driving means is provided and whose upper part is put in close contact with the compression means. The relief valve to be opened when pressure in the sealed container gets to preset pressure or more is provided on the bottom of the sealed case. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
