PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the actual size of a measurement object without using a distance sensor by analyzing taken photographic images while considering anteroposterior relation (perspective relation) between the object to be a size measurement object and the object to be a reference object to be compared with the measurement object. SOLUTION: In the status that the object in the monitor images taken by a camera imaging section 7 is designated as the object to be measured, and a plurality of other objects existing in the monitor images are designated as reference objects, a CPU 1 measures the perspective distances between the measurement object and a plurality of reference objects in the anteroposterior direction respectively and also measures the real size of the plurality of designated reference objects respectively, and further calculates the image size of the measurement object and each of the reference object by analyzing the monitor images.
