PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of impeding the smooth movement of a plunger 15 because of losing magnetic attraction balance due to magnetic foreign matters included in oil if oil is supplied/discharged to/from a first variable volume chamber A formed with a magnetic attraction gap MG. SOLUTION: Oil is supplied/discharged to/from the first variable volume chamber A through a first magnetic foreign matter capture passage 15αwhich is a clearance between first and second plungersα,β, where the line of magnetic force generated by a coil 17 crosses. The magnetic foreign matters included in the oil are caught by magnetic force in the first magnetic foreign matter capture passage 15α, so that the magnetic foreign matters do not enter the first variable volume chamber A. As a result, the smooth movement of the plunger 15 can be maintained over a long period of time. Further, the passage cross section of the first magnetic foreign matter capture passage 15αis provided in gradually changed shape to combine positive capture of the magnetic foreign matters in the first magnetic foreign matter capture passage 15αand prevention of clogging of the first magnetic foreign matter capture passage 15αwith the magnetic foreign matters.
