PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardenable composition suitable as a sealing material having excellent durability and heat-resistance, collecting little dust by surface tackiness, having good storage stability and satisfying these properties at high levels. SOLUTION: The hardenable composition is composed of (A) a conjugated diene polymer obtained by the polymerization in a hydrocarbon solvent with a dilithium initiator, having hydroxy group or a hydrolyzable group bonded to a silicon atom on the main chain and/or side chain of the polymer and having at least one hydrolyzable silyl group to effect the crosslinking of the polymer by the formation of a siloxane bond by hydrolysis, (B) a saturated hydrocarbon polymer having hydroxy group or a hydrolyzable group bonded to a silicon atom and having at least one hydrolyzable silyl group to effect the crosslinking of the polymer by the formation of a siloxane bond by hydrolysis and (C) a silanol condensation catalyst mixed into the mixture of (A) and (B).
