The present invention provides an image forming method including forming an image on a transfer paper for electrophotography by using oilless fixing, in which the transfer paper for electrophotography comprises a thermoplastic foam resin layer on at least one side of a substrate, the thermoplastic foam resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin having a softening point of 50° C. to 120° C. as determined according to JIS K 7234 (Ring and Ball method), and the thermoplastic foam resin layer having an average void size of 0.5 mum to 50 mum on the surface thereof. A difference between a gloss before the fixing and a gloss after the fixing, on a non-image portion, is 10% to 100%. |
