Securing device for a traction cable in an adjusting component comprises an end part in the form of a Z-shaped hook consisting of a bar and two parallel arms protruding from the bar in opposite directions. One arm is connected to the traction cable. In the assembled state the arm passes through a fixing hole in the adjusting component and the two arms are each arranged on one side of the adjusting component. An extension securing device is provided as a one-piece clip (9). The clip comprises a bushing (10) and a flange (11). The bushing is fixed to the arm connected to the traction cable and the flange is fixed to the bar parallel to the adjusting component and protrudes over the arm in continuation of the arm connected to the traction cable.
