<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling device having excellent acoustic characteristics, silence, wear resistance and fretting resistance over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: A deep groove ball bearing is provided with an inner ring 11, an outer ring 12 supporting the inner ring 11 rotatably, and a plurality of balls 13 interposed between the inner ring 11 and the outer ring 12 and rolling in association with the rotary motion of the inner ring 11, wherein the ball 13 is formed of ceramics with the average coefficient of linear expansion between a room temperature and 400°C measured based on a method specified to JIS R 1618 being 7.0×10<SP>-6</SP>(1/K) to 8.5×10<SP>-6</SP>(1/K). The deep groove ball bearing 10 thereby has excellent silence and can reduce the decrease amount of preload even if the temperature rises during use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
