PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polystyrene film which is excellent in handleability in that it can be used for e.g. highly slippery labels for drink containers and does not cause a coin-operated vending machine to be plugged with the containers even if it is used for labels for containers handled in the machine. SOLUTION: The heat-shrinkable polystyrene film is characterized in that it has a layer containing a lubricant component as at least either of its outermost layers, the coefficient of friction between such layers is 0.25 or lower, and the coefficient of dynamic friction between such layers is 0.28 or lower as measured on a film prepared by immersing a film in hot water at 80°C while shrinking it to 10% in the shrinkage direction for 20 s, pulling it up, and spontaneously drying it for 24 h in an atmosphere of 23°C and a relative humidity of 65%.
