PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device dispensing with correction processing of a detection signal. SOLUTION: In this rotation angle detection device, targets 3b, 3c in the mutually prime numbers are provided respectively on rotators 12b, 12c rotating coaxially, and each two detection means C, D, E, F arranged oppositely to the targets 3b, 3c respectively, for outputting detection signals having mutually different phases corresponding to each position of the targets 3b, 3c, following rotation of the rotators 12b, 12c detect rotation angles of the rotators 12b, 12c based on the outputted detection signals. The device has a constitution equipped with a means for operating the quantity equivalent to time differential values of the detection signals from the two detection means (C, D or E, F), a dividing means for dividing one of the operated two quantities by the other, storage means 5a-5h for storing beforehand the relation between the divided result by the dividing means and an electrical angle of the detection signal, and a means for determining the electrical angle of the detection signal on reference to the storage means 5a-5h by the divided result by the dividing means.
