PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical probe, having satisfactory measurement sensitivity with respect to a wide range of objects to be measured from small molecules and giant molecules to particulates and bacteria. SOLUTION: By providing an appropriate amount of light-scattering elements inside of the optical probe 1, a balance between the internal preparation of exciting light and its emission far to the outside is achieved to mix evanescent wave excitation and normal light excitation with each other.
