PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of stably formulating a water-soluble polymer, having an effect of removing hydrophobic blots and smears, in a liquid composition containing an oxygen-based bleach, and to provide preferably a liquid bleach composition superior in removal of the hydrophobic blots and smears, and most preferably the liquid bleaching composition superior in removal of the hydrophobic blots and smears deposited on hydrophobic fibers such as polyester-based fibers and acrylic fibers. SOLUTION: This liquid bleaching composition comprises (A) hydrogen peroxide, (B) the water-soluble polymer having an alkylene terephthalate unit and/or an alkylene isophthalate unit, and an oxyalkylene unit and/or a polyoxyalkylene unit, and (C) a surfactant.
