PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent resin composition having excellent transparency, heat resistance, toughness and other mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: The transparent resin composition comprises 70-99 wt.% maleimide-olefin copolymer having a specific structure, and≥1×10<SP>3</SP>and≤5×10<SP>6</SP>number average molecular weight, and 1-30 wt.% graft copolymer obtained by grafting an acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer containing 21-45 wt.% acrylonitrile unit on an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer or a polycarbonate resin.
