PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the emitting spot of a semiconductor laser apparatus which emits laser beams having two wavelengths to one laser beam. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser apparatus includes first and second laser elements 170, 180 and a waveguide structure 190 on the same n-type GaAs semiconductor substrate 100. A waveguide stripe 130 has a first part 130a aligned at a base end to a first stripe 115, a second part 130b aligned at a base end to a second stripe 125, and a third part 130c combined at the distal ends of the first and second parts 130a, 130b at the base end so that the first and second stripe structures 115, 125 are extended in the same direction.
