PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a novel warehouse type refrigerator capable of remarkably reducing power consumption by eliminating the access of a forklift truck thereto to prevent the outside air from flowing in and cool air from flowing out so that the refrigerator can withstand actual use by eliminating the troublesome maintenance specific to a ceiling pipe type warehouse type refrigerator. SOLUTION: A forklift truck room 25 is formed in a building 2, the forklift truck 5 is always positioned in the building 2 even in cargo input/output operations, and a cargo carrying in/out part is formed in a multi-door structure. Since the inflow of the outside air and the outflow of the cool air are not caused by the access of the forklift truck 5 and also the inflow of the outside air and the outflow of the cool air in carrying in/out cargos are minimized, an increase in power consumption due to an increase in refrigerating load can be avoided, and since the defrosted amount in a cooling system can be suppressed, a maintenance operation can be simplified.
