<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery excellent in power generating performance by well supplying gas to an outer electrode of a fuel battery cell even when a flat cell is used. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel battery cell 1 is at least composed of a gas flow passage 16 formed at the inside of an inner electrode 11, a solid electrolyte 12 formed at the outside thereof, an outer electrode 13, and an interconnector 14 exposed to the outside of the fuel battery cell 1. A three-dimensional-structure current collector member 20 through which gas can flow is arranged between a plurality of the flat cells 1, and opposing cells 1 are electrically connected by the current collector member at an interval of 1 to 8 mm, and housed in a container to make up a cell stack. At least a part of the outer electrode 13 is exposed, and a ratio of a space occupied by the current collector member 20 out of a connection space formed between the interconnector of one of the cells 1 and an outer electrode 13 of the other cell 1 connected by the current collector member 20, is 2 to 40 vol.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
