<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer electrolyte film with hotwater tolerance which can be used well as a diaphragm of a fuel cell while retaining high proton conductivity, and provide a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell using this solid polyelectrolyte film. <P>SOLUTION: The solid polymer electrolyte film is composed of (i) a polyarylene block copolymer or a graft copolymer containing a polymer unit consisting of a repetitive constituting unit which has a sulfonic acid group, and the polymer unit consisting of the repetitive constituting unit which does not have the sulfonic acid group, and (ii) a polyarylene homopolymer consisting of the repetitive constituting unit which has the sulfonic acid group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
