<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent self-flashing misoperation, in a lighting fixture controlled by a pyro infrared sensor (body sensor). <P>SOLUTION: The lighting fixture, wherein a lamp 2, such as a fluorescent lamp or an incandescent lamp and the pyro infrared sensor 3, are provided on the undersurface of a body 1 and covered with a semi-translucent globe 4 (a product made of polyethylene through which infrared light from a body passes) and the lamp 2 is lit, when the body is detected by the sensor 3, has a function forcibly putting the lamp 2 in a full lighting mode for a prescribed time (for example, for 30 seconds), immediately after turning on and turning off the lamp 2 through a dimming lighting mode for a comparatively short time, after the termination of the full lighting mode. The prescribed time may be at least about 20 seconds and about 60 seconds at the most so as not to continue lighting too much so that the user will not have doubtful feeling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
